Behavioural Advice

Many people put up with pet behaviour issues because they are unaware that many of them can be improved with the correct advice or treatment. Such treatments require time, patience and commitment from the owner and the vet, but the rewards in improved quality of life for everyone make it worthwhile.

Rosie can carry out a behavioural advice consultation. This is best given in person as it is often lengthy and involved and, for optimum results, involves a detailed conversation with you, the owner.

Here are some of the pet behavioural issues that we can help with:

  • House soiling by cats or dogs
  • Destructive chewing
  • Guarding
  • Separation anxiety
  • Changes in behaviour, such as increased aggression or fighting between pets in the same house

These problems are often complex, with no ‘quick fix’; thus, we are unable to give behaviour advice over the phone. We are happy to book an appointment for you and your pet to see how we can help.
